RESIDENTS of Ughelli North Local Local Government Area and its environs have commended combined team of Operation Delta Sweep for gradually returning peace to the local government and its environs.
They described the coming of the security agents as a welcome development that is yielding positive results and impact in the local government.
Speaking, a motorcycle rider who identified himself as Francis John said, “Operation Delta Sweep is doing well, their operation stop and search is commendable and it is my prayers they continue in their good part of operations.
As a motorcycle rider, I know what I mean by saying that they are doing well, because some of the boys that used to moved with hard drugs are now very afraid to a large extent because of the strategic position of their operations.
“If we unknowingly carry any of this boys that is with hard drugs and they saw Operation Delta Sweep on the road,, their mode and countenance will change and without anything they will throw away any of the item with.
“As for me, I loved what they are doing and the way they approach you for a search is good and they should keep it up, though nobody is perfect but to an extent they are sanitizing the local government.”
A Keke rider, while commending the activities of Operation Delta Sweep, caution them against being used to victimize innocent people.
“I am impressed with what they are doing, they will search and allow you to go if you are not found with anything, it is when one is found with any substance that is incriminating that arrest would be made.”
At the Ughelli market, Mama Tomatoes expressed gratitude to Delta Sweep and other security agents making Ughelli metropolis calm.
“Before now, we cannot stay in the market because of one problem or the other but as at today, you can see that the place is bubbling with activities and we are happy because Operation Delta Sweep is always on patrol.
“They should continue doing what they doing in as much there is peace in the town”
